Role: Project Manager - AS400 Develpment
Responsibilities:
•Direct and manage project development
•Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
•Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
•Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders
•Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
•Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
•Plan, schedule and track project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
•Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations
•Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
•Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members
•Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
•Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management
Position Requirements:
•6-10 years of work experience on the IBM i (also popularly known as AS/400 or i Series); RPG4 & free format
•Minimum experience in the Primary Technology area: 4 years; ILE concepts a must
•Experience on Tibco a must
•Minimum experience in the role: At least one year handling multiple projects
•Excellent communication (English) skills - written and oral
•Strong familiarity with MS Project, Change Management Tools
•Domain: Retail (preferred), Manufacturing, Distribution
•Experience of managing international customers/projects, a pluse
